Down in Argentina the usual dinnertime is around 10pm! To tide them over, the people will usually have a small meal called Merienda between lunch and dinner.

In 1917, Quirino Cristiani released a movie called "El Apóstol" (The Apostle). It was made using cutout stopmotion technically making in the first full length animated feature. Unfortunally the accomplishment was later given to Walt Disney's Snow White after El Apóstol was lost in 1928.

Argentina has both the lowest and highest points of elevation in the Southern Hemisphere. Mount Aconcagua reaches 6,692 meters, while Laguna del Carbon Lake plumits 105 meters below sea level.
