Land of Volcanos
There are over 100 volcanos in El Salvador and 20 that are currently active. Out of all of them, Santa Ana scores the tallest being at 2,381 meters above sea level!
The Test of Time
Capital city, San Salvador, is the longest standing capital city in Central America. It currently stands at 500 years old!
The August Festival
Fiesta de San Salvador is a national holiday celebrated August 6th. It is a festival to celebrate and honor the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ.

The Flor de Izote, (the Yucca flower) is El Salvador's national flower. It represents new opportunities, loyalty, protection and purity.
