Our team is dedicated to equipping the next generation of Peruvian believers through a Christian school, strengthening local churches, and bringing the hope of Christ to remote and unreached rural areas through church planting.
Packing with Alpacas!
There are approximately 7.5 million alpacas in Peru. Since the global population is about 10 million, that means three quarters of the world's alpacas live in Peru!
Not Your Typical Pork
Cuy, also known as guinea pig, is a traditional Peruvian dish. Usually served fried with heads, legs, feet, and eyes still attached. Don't knock it untill you try it!
Lost in the Sand
Reaching 1,176 meters high, the Cerro Blanco sand dune, which can be found in the Sechura Desert, is the tallest sand dune in the world.
Floating Islands?
The Uros are an indigenous people that live on small islands floating on Lake Titicaca made of Totora reeds. They craft, fish, and trade the goods they collect living on the water.
