Honduras church plant

Reaching the Lenca People of Honduras

The Lenca people, the largest indigenous group in Honduras, reside primarily within the Guajiquiro Biological Reserve. While Catholicism is the dominant religion, it’s often intertwined with traditional witchcraft practices. Tragically, an overwhelming percentage of this region lacks any gospel witness. Our church plant project aims to change that.

Our goal is to establish thriving churches within the Lenca community and equip local pastors to lead and nurture their congregations. We envision building multiple facilities throughout the region, serving as centers for worship, discipleship, and pastoral training.

This is a significant undertaking, and we need your partnership. We earnestly ask for your prayers and financial support as we embark on this journey. Please join us in praying for:

  • Open Doors: That God would open doors for gospel opportunities and create receptive hearts among the Lenca people.
  • Receptive Hearts: That the Lenca people would be receptive to the message of hope and love found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Strength and Wisdom: That God would grant strength and wisdom to our pastors as they navigate the challenges of ministry and shepherd their growing congregations.

Your prayers and support are vital to the success of this mission. Together, we can bring the light of the Gospel to the Lenca people and see lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.
