Francisco & Martita Berrios
Missionaries in Romania
Testimony
Fransisco: I was doing my higher studies when a colleague named Elda Valenzuela invited me to the Youth Meeting of the Miramonte Baptist Church in San Salvador. I said that I was an atheist and that I would go to show my friend that they were wrong. I ended up accepting Christ as my savior on September 12, 1981 and was baptized a month later.
Ministry
We are missionaries to Romania; we arrived in 2001. Our ministry consists of leadership training, discipleship, and evangelism with an emphasis in recent years on Therapeutic Biblical Counseling (CBT). Francisco has been a missionary pastor at Hope Baptist Church in Brasov, Romania since 2010. He also has a diploma in counseling from World Mission University in Los Angeles, CA and is graduating in March 2025 with a Master of Divinity with a specialty in counseling from Grace University and Seminary in Winona, Indiana, USA.
Favorite Scripture
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, 26and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?“

About Us
What are some of your Hobbies?
Fransisco: I snowboard in the winter! I learned when I was 50!!!
What is an adventure you would like to go on?
Fransisco: I have the desire to visit an Asian country like China or Japan.
Who from the Bible would you like to meet in Heaven?
I definitely want to talk to Job. I find his way of dealing with loss fascinating. I don’t understand him and I almost wish I could have a counseling class with him. There are so many people who go through situations where we don’t understand God and the pain drives us crazy. I want to know about his inner strengths, his emotional struggles, his cognitive processes, his willpower. I want to meet him!!
